Health Freedom News, Jan 1993 This article quickly reviews several alternative forms of health care available today, including: nutrition, allergy treatment, naturopathy, applied kinesiology, and health kinesiology. One should not assume that an MD who has been trained in an alternative method is a better practitioner of that technique. Look for someone who has thorough training in that area. Dr. Scott discusses such issues as training and qualifications of practitioners, finding referrals, and which questions to ask your prospective practitioner. He reminds us that we must take responsibility for our own health, even when dealing with conventional healers. Download full article in Adobe Acrobat Reader format (.pdf) size: 433 kb |
